In the middle of Tallinn, neighbouring Pärnu road, Veerenni street and railway stretches one of the biggest industrial areas of former Tallinn. Luhter quarter changed homes of many Estonians of the time. Wood and plywood industry of the time lay the foundation to the whole district.
Tour is led and stories are told by Dr. Jüri Kermik, who is an academic and designer with primary research interest in the history of plywood and materials innovation. He has published an award-winning monograph (Luther Factory: Plywood and Furniture)
